MetaPanel™

Microba has partnered with hospitals and leading health care practitioners across Australia to develop MetaPanel™ – a next generation clinical diagnostic product utilising Microba’s advanced MAP™ technology. This test will complement existing diagnostic test to provide clinicians with a 3-panel result in 1 test. This provides clinicians with an unprecedented amount of information in a shorter timeframe.

The single test includes:

  • Pathogen panel (29 species)
  • Antibiotic resistance gene panel
    (12 AMR genes)
  • Toxins gene panel (13 toxin gene pathways)

MetaPanel™ will complement and expand on existing diagnostic tests to provide clinicians with three-panel results in a single test. Our team has developed a tool to identify a wide range of pathogens, anti-microbial resistance, and toxin genes in a single test from a faecal sample.
