Gut health and Ageing

Gut health and Ageing

Studies are beginning to show that the microbiome is a surprisingly accurate biological clock, able to predict the age of many.

While significant progress has been made to understand the complex community that is the gut microbiome earlier in life, it is only recently that we have begun to research its deterioration later in life. Scientists are now recognizing the important influence the microbiome may have on the aging process and many diseases common in old age.
